Hello and thanks for allowing me to join this group. I have recently retired from my Engineering career and wondering if there is a niche in this industry for what I'd like to do. Owning my own 1ton truck, a flatbed trailer, as well as soon to have enclosed 24 footer, I would like to transport cars. The thing is that this isn't a career for me, but rather something fun that could pay for itself and provide a little spending $. I only want to move a vehicle (and 1 in return) about once a month. So the question: how would I go about starting this? I know I would need a business license and insurance. But would I need to work for a company as a contractor? Is this whole scenario stupid?

Thanks for reading this. I look fwd to any responses.
