Nice! That's not too lengthy of a stay considering the severity of it. I'm sure it feels like a long time though.
"Do I have to go home? I've finally learned to love this place!" said no one ever about a hospital.
That would be about six weeks in the hospital. I started getting mail at the hospital’s address. Too long!
PackRat...
Care to share that hospital address?
Do we need a name or will "PackRat" work there by now?
No mail to me at the hospital. Thanks, but I’ll be home before it gets to me.
Another PLUS day! Off of the Percocet pills completely. Took four more walks today, unassisted, and did the stairs on three of them. No shots today, either. Just little pills for all my meds. Doctors keep telling me they are impressed, so things are continually looking up. I fully intend to be at home prior to the end of the month. Thanks for continuing to read my rambling, and most importantly to me, thanks for all the kind words and prayers.
How are you doing?
According to the professionals and judging by how I feel, I’m doing great. Another PLUS day yesterday, with vital stats and lab result numbers all looking good. Took four longer walks yesterday, all of these involving the stairs. Also, got to have my first shower in a month. Heavenly!!! Had my second biopsy on the new heart this morning. Simple in-and-out procedure of under 15 minutes, updating if the new one is performing well and if it is experiencing any signs of rejection. I have to do these each Monday for the next month (six weeks total). Worst part of this is the requirement to fast at least 12 hours beforehand each time, so no breakfast this morning at 0600. Thanks all for continued thoughts and prayers.

That's fantastic!
How long do they expect it to be before you go home?
