I concur with G Town on the preplan.
My FM oftens gives me loads knowing I will swap them with someone else due to my hours. Of course, company size makes a big difference.
Ditto here Rainy.
On occasion my second load is nothing more than getting it halfway and handing it off to a driver with available hours necessary to deliver it the final miles. I’ll swap my trailer with their’s that many times has a back haul for delivery to the DC.
Leveraging clock for maximum individual, and company performance.
Just got a reply that he didn’t notice my clock.
I’m fine with running it as far as I can. But at this point I can’t make the appointment anyway. I’m still not unloaded, or started for that matter, and it is an hour away.

Also, has anybody noticed there hasn't been much chatter from Jamie since he got his fancy new truck? I think he's in love.

Guess they all got over his hard braking event!
Was going to post yesterday but ended up a little busy.
1. Cranked out 550 miles with a load/unload/load in there getting preloaded for today's first delivery. Also, the paycheck was more then I was expecting this week.
2. Marked 1 year that I started with my first company! In another month will be a full year solo and I should break 100k (local) miles in that first year.

That's AWESOME! Way to go!
Left the hospital after five weeks this afternoon. That’s enough for one day.

Fm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.OWI:
