Every month, FAB gives cerificates out to drivers who did not have any violations or citations, preventables, disciplinary actions, did not miss work, etc.. Out of all the drivers who received certificates, 6 drivers are randomly chosen to receive a performance bonus. I have been on the list with many other drivers every month I have been with FAB, but had never been chosen in the drawing, until yesterday. I was one of the 6 FAB drivers chosen for February. $300.00 bonus! I would say that was an awesome day.

Thanks guys. Being one of the six winners is luck or chance, but it is nice that the company recognize's all their drivers who are eligible for the drawing each month.

Today was my day to bid on my linehaul run for the year, I got one of the ones I wanted its 560 miles round trip and starts at 10 am! No more night shift for awhile.
Also it looks like I finished in the top 40 for the company and the highest at my terminal in fuel mileage for March.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Linehaul:
Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.
LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.

1. Did over 11k paid miles in March. Which kept my monthly average at 10k miles.
2. Made a really tight appointment with 20 minutes to spare!
1) Donna called me and she is doing great. I'm so proud of her.
2) This truck is easier and easier to.back yay!
Daniel did awesome today!
His first load was 1400 miles, and he backed into the dock like a pro.
The red arrow is the dock, and the black line is a concrete wall you couldnt see in the satellite image. The customer was impressed and said he has seen people take an hour to get in. Daniel did so with one pull up!!!
