I recently began using the Garmin Elog device and Garmin dezl 780 but can't find how to get it to download the logs for printing or send them to my employer. Does anyone know where these 2 functions can be found in this system?

Elog:

Electronic Onboard Recorder

Electronic Logbook

A device which records the amount of time a vehicle has been driven. If the vehicle is not being driven, the operator will manually input whether or not he/she is on duty or not.

I don't have a garmin, but on mine I would have to email them to myself, and print it out that way. Or you can try calling them.

Have you tried finding the manual online? I believe you're REQUIRED to have the paperwork that explains how to do that on your ELOG device in the truck.

BINGO! A driver must be able to show a LEO that he has a working understanding of their device.
