Great job earning that CDL
As far as the advice I'd suggest creating a post in the general categories section because there's a lot more activity there. We have quite a few trainers (not for Roehl) that are more likely to see thread.
What division of Roehl are you going to be in?

Thanks! Iโll make a post in the main section then. I will be in their Midwest Regional Van division.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
I just rolled into Marshfield for training. any tips?
Listen, focus on what the instructors teach. Fast paced is a good way of saying it basically. Be professional, ask questions, and donโt party in the hotel (or anywhere for that matter.)

Congratulations!
I just finished my first day at Conley. Survived all the big hurdles so it's just pretrips and driving from here on. ๐
Any updates KJ? I will be at Conley in two weeks.

Just finished 2nd week. End of next week we head to Chattanooga to test out with Sarge, who by all accounts is a good guy who isn't out to "get you". But there are some auto-fails, like jumping a curb, rolling back (not a problem I've ever encountered in Florida) or obviously running into anything.
Just started 3rd week, got my shiny new yellow vest along with my cdl for passing the Sarge test.๐ฅ
Was expecting Shun to reveal himself, but so far no go.

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
