I'm guessing, the deer , hard headed as he was, didn't survive that head butt?

I got a 2 for 1 this winter in PA. 2 small ones sitting in the fast lane of the interstate. Dimmed the lights, blew the air horn, and even slowed down a bit. (Middle of the night, no one around me) all they did was look at me and didn't try to move until my deer guard hit them. Called it in, and I was good to go.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

Splitter's first week on my truck, he drove 3000 miles and no issues. I drove 300 when we swtiched to team, and THUMP!

I killed Bambi.

Prime has deer run across our path on the simulator, and some almost roll the simulator truck. They tell us to run them down, and it goes down as a Non preventable "animal involved" when you hit one.

I almost didn't report one due to no damage and bad advice of another driver. I was glad I did though because I wasnt thinking about the cottage cheese load at the time. Hit a deer and splat that cottage cheese and it is perfectly acceptable, although costly. Hit nothing and cottage cheese creates a river in your trailer, then you got some explaining to do.

Luckily, i was driving slow enough for fear of deer that the freight was intact.
