Congrats JYD! Enjoy that well deserved raise along with that R&R. 0
Congrats well deserved
Congratulations! Keep up the good work!
Great job!
only two and a half cents a mile but I was happy to get that.
2 and a half cents is a big raise! That's nothing to sneeze at. Congratulations!
Congratulations Junkyard K9!!!
That raise is roughly $500 per month so that is indeed nothing to sneeze at (OS). And the safety recognition is even better than money in some ways. Talk about positive reinforcement!
Congratulations JYD!
Best wishes for continued success!

So I'm usually out for 4 to 5 weeks at a time before I request home time. And I've only been back to the terminal 3 times in the last 2 months. And the previous two of those were either at night or on the weekend. So the only person I saw was the dispatcher. Got in there today for my home time and as I walked in the lady that is in charge of all the permits and paperwork called me over... I'm always amazed that she knows who I am? She asked me to get my permit book and as she got me my trip sheets, Comchecks etc congratulated me on my safe driving award...no accidents, no camera incidents, and my raise... only two and a half cents a mile but I was happy to get that. And a handwritten note from the owners son who is the Chief Operating Officer. It said this is your first raise of many. Keep driving safe and they will come quickly. Nice way to start your home time!!!

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Dispatcher:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.HOS:
