At this moment, my go-to YouTube trucking channel is Nic and Carla. Still somewhat new to trucking, they share their stories, successes, opportunities and adventures in a way future drivers can visualize and learn from. Never sugar-coated, some strong language, and real. Nope, not instructional as to succeeding in trucking directly, but a well edited, fun look at a team trying to make good decisions, enjoy the lifestyle, make money and figure it out.
Hey , I didnt see all the vids on the companies and such, more on the practical driving skills and things to do as a rookie driver and learning the ropes and such . I didnt get through everything but I try to take the good out of what I did see , on a practical level .
And to NEVER be a lease operator.
What is “you tube”? My favorite screen to watch is my windscreen. It’s all reality all the time.
Here is the link to my favorite YouTube trucker. Super positive. Vasiliy Agiy
Thanks Daniel. Stumbled on his "Worst Last Day Trucking" video a while back. Didn't realize he is still posting and, it looks like, going back to trucking. Not sure.
I am a Coffee Snob trying to get into trucking!
Will check out more of his vids.
Staying away from Smart Trucking- thanks Brett!
As a hard working northeast regional time i barely have enough time to eat sleep and enjoy my family i cant imagine anyone who has time to make youtube videos is working very hard in this industry to be toptier i make a lil time in my downtime for this sight because its filled with great people
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
If you want some good YouTube trucking videos, search BRT (Big Rig Trucking). He stopped trucking a few years ago due to health reasons. He has many good videos about cooking in the truck, and others about trucking life. Since he retired, he stopped doing trucking videos and has a channel for him, his wife and dogs. He does live in Canada. Another good one is Allie Knight. Another one who quit trucking, unfortunately. Allie started her career at USA. She made very high quality videos. She has some very informative videos. She was very inspiring when I was looking into trucking. These are my to favorite YouTube truckers. J Cannel, used to have good videos until he got to involved with the drama. I no longer subscribe to any YouTube truckers.
If you like people who make crazy things check out Colin Fruze. For the best up to the minute trucking information for new people. You are already here.
Cool stuff , Thanks Big Scott . I love getting all the info I can from the industry .
My favorite YouTube truck channel is The Flatbed Chick because she is gorgeous and she reminds me of Jennifer Anniston :)

I feel the same way. Every so often I'll take a look around and think, "Come on. There has to be someone that's worthwhile to listen to, someone that really teaches what it takes to be successful in this industry." I've yet to find anyone though.
