When I was at Millis, we were issued a FedEx shipping envelope that was already addressed and postage paid along with two urine sample containers. If informed to provide a sample (random or post accident), we were to use that and mail it ASAP. The only place I’ve seen, or heard of, that did this method.

Sure would be tough to cheat on that one! Guess they didn't want to lose any drivers to a silly post accident drug screen!!

That is weird, and pretty much outside regs. Chain of custody issues, cheating, etc. Just really weird. Wonder how they get away with that.

In testing consortiums, there are test centers LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. Most don't have truck parking either.

Bizarre policy, to say the least.

It was really a strange thing to hear. We had to sign a document about it, too.

Current company has the same in all trucks however they're doing away with it. They say in the event of an accident it's too much hassle having a trooper verify collection. Now they just send us a message to see VP of HR upon arrival back to terminal. They then give us a company car and the address to test site (all "on duty" until returning from giving a sample). Of course this is being home daily, if I were chosen and wouldnt be making it back that day I'd be given an address near where I currently was at.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

It all makes sense now. I've heard guys on cb asking other drivers if they could buy their clean urine. Must've been Millis.

I wonder what they are willing to pay? Everybody has their price!

Mine is $1,000,000.00

Didn't say it was worth it. Just the price I'd be willing to take!
