What is “ Local yard”? Have to do project to get a government grant to go to Trucking school and I would appreciate it if I could find 2 drivers that is willing to answer my questions and give me a their direct phone number so the Grant Counselor could contact you to see if I did the work?

Just throwing it out there.

This could be a shuttle driver. They move trailers from the shipping/receiving facility to another off-site location. It may also be what is referred to as a yard jockey. These are used to move trailers into or out of the docking doors at a specific location, such as a distribution center complex.
