Yes........it appears you are well stocked in the Child department. You should get plenty of Fathers Day cards for years to come.

HAHAHA Bruce

Doc, do you know the difference between a vasectomy and a castration? If he hesitates at all, find another Doctor!

Exactly why, for my right knee operation in 2012, right before I got wheeled into the OP room, I met the surgeon. So I told him to sign my right knee cap! so he didn't forget, and maybe cut the wrong thing open confused.gif So he laughed and signed it whewwwwww!

Ask Safety. I was originally told I would.not need a new card before my out patient surgery. After I submitted a return to work which stated "medical procedure", and i declared that i only took percocet for 2 days out of the 10 days prescribed... and i was out almost 6 weeks... i was then told i needed my doctor to submit my records and get a new DOT physical. Prime said any invasive procedure requires a new card. A friend of mine who does doctors billing codes said it has to do with the codes. Once there is a "diagnosis or procedure code" in your file, people can sue if you are in an accident. A good lawyer can argue a urologist doesnt know the DOT requirememts therefore he cant actually determine you are fit for duty.

Worst case scenario, you get on the road then you get a phone call to get a new physical.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
