That's funny, because it has never routed me onto a truck restrictedParkway.

However, since the most recent update, it never wants to route me on I-180 through the island. It thinks that there is a low bridge right before the Falls Bridge. I think that it is registering the Parkway that circles back under it as part of the route.

Sorry that was for TP. Though the trial of copilot truck routed me on the parkway on Grand Island

Yeah, for some reason, Grand Island hates Copilot. But you should know better, lol, considering your place of residence. That is the ONLY gaff I have seen from Copilot....... So far.

They also added their "Gold Membership" for truck-specific routing stating in the forum (within their app) that Silver Members only receive car specific navigation to which I asked why on earth would people PAY to use an app called TRUCKER Path for car specific directions when google maps work JUST fine for free.

I'm still waiting for their reply.

For the predictive parking info, which is pretty much worthless.

In order to get a ballpark figure for driving time. I compare total miles for trip on load information on QC, with miles on google maps. Figure 50 mph. 500 mile trip, approximately 10 hours. There are variables, but it is a good place to start. I try to keep it simple.

Yes I use TP for the same thing. It’s quicker than putting it in my gps.

More than just predictive parking.

You will get different navigation between free, Silver, and Gold.

For follow up , has Truckers Path released an update that fixed issues brought up on this post? If it works well enough , I don't want to buy a Rand McNally GPS unit. But kind of want a Rand McNally GPS so I can have the dash cam (as a back up to the company one).
