Okay I know they're supposed to be bad for you but I'm a otr driver that needs a boost every now and then. What is your favorite energy drink and why?

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Walmart has these drinks in the water aisle. Can't remember what it's called but it's energy water with a touch of natural flavor. That or Mio energy. Sugar free always!

All the chemicals and ingredients in those things are garbage for your body. You’d have less of a health risk mixing a bottle of water with the contents of the cigarette butt can outside the entrance to a fast food joint and drinking eight ounces of that for a “ boost”. Drink coffee and spend your money on healthy food. Don’t be fooled by the gimmick ads you read, hear or see.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

5 hour while on the road. Zero sugar Monster at home. 5 hour energy doesn't make me have to hit the head like Monster does.

I have to say, being in the military deployed a couple of times, you see a ton of energy drink consumption. While the initial drink might lift you up, the drop is worse. There is something to be said for decent water intake and a “healthy” diet. BUT, if I needed one in a pinch, it would the a monster (red) can. I can’t remember the name, but tastes good.

Arizona makes a tea called RX energy. That's what ive been drinking. Its not coffee but its enough for me, natural ingredients and only a dollar.

I'm with Packrat. Coffee bought with bonus points.

And most of us don't drink enough of the original energy drink, water. Get 64 oz. per day.

No healthy boost when it comes to energy drinks. I do love me some Red Bull though.
