I tried to get them to put my picture on the wall, but they said I was too ugly!
Hey tell me what's going on. Are you delivering something or picking up a load?
When are you going to be there? I'm in town today and maybe tonight. I'd be glad to meet up with you and help you out if I can.
Actually, I just remembered something. They do have my picture on the wall in the shipping office. I forgot about that. In the back corner to your left as you come in the door of the office they have a big picture of my former truck, and another (much smaller) picture of my Trucking Truth avatar photo hanging on the wall.
Imagine that! I completely forgot about those pictures until you made me think about it.
That plant is the one that I'm a dedicated driver for. We work from all their many plants, but they always send me out from Delhi, and my back hauls are designed to return me to that plant.
I'm hoping we get to meet. I always enjoy meeting you guys out here when the opportunity arises.
There's nothing luxurious about that place! When my wife rides with me she refers to it as a junk yard. You have to drive through the area where they stockpile all the aluminum being brought in to be recycled. It's a mess!
Trash goes in one end of the building and nice shiny metal products come out the other end. It's pretty amazing what transpires inside the building.
I also just realized you are still doing TNT at Prime. I forgot you are still with a trainer. I'd be glad to meet up with you guys, but completely understand if you can't make it work.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
DEFINITELY going hunting for that photo. Yeah we will be there in about 3 hours. We have until Monday to get to city of industry in Cali as a team so shouldn't be needing to get out of there at breakneck speed. Be awesome to finally meet someone from here. My current TNT trainer is great, I'll explain to him what's going on.

You're not coming from Nachodogs TX or whatever it is, are you?

No, I'm sitting in Delhi at Uncle Pete's truck stop. I'm waiting on the plant to load my next assignment.
Post a message on here when you guys get to the plant. I'll head over there and find you guys.
