Anthony, thank you for the well wishes. I'll do another post later on today about my thoughts and advice on orientation. Bruce, I kept telling myself "Don't forget to get a pic, don't forget to get a pic" then on the way back to the hotel I was like "Damn, forgot to get a pic"! She's here for another day or two. Maybe I can get her to meet me again for a photo op???
I'm rolling in tonight, don't know where a damn thing is in Springfield but got a class tomorrow at 230. I'll be around if there's any trucking truth meet up (and I'll make sure pictures are taken)!
Hahahah... well i need to leave out tomorrow afternoon, but post on this threas and we can try to meet up.

You got that right! Rainy I know you're busy but maybe I can slide by and see some expert level pre trip before you scoot out. I'll post here when I'm coming to the terminal and all.

Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Thursday... 0530 wake up, shower, breakfast, in class at 0630 for roll call and processing information update. Basically just a class to let you know where you stand with completing all your orientation tasks. And thats it for today until 1500 (3:00 pm). That'll be a Clearing Meeting and at which I'll be getting my purple badge!!!
