Well this was an entertaining read! I wonder what has become of young Christian in the past year.

I used a freightliner temporarily and found that they are very sensitive. You can't change lanes too fast and it will trigger roll stability even if you go 10+mph under the posted speed limit when go around curves...

This has been an entertaining and informative read. as someone who drives privately for the family business in seriously older (my main truck I've been driving is a 07) trucks, I learned a lot about the field I plan to transition to when my father retires. In the meantime, its looking like I will probably need to either get my own truck and find a dispatcher that will allow me to work on my own schedule, or find other part time work that I can do when I am not scheduled at the family business.

just to note, I felt bad for Christian at first, it sounded like he got a lemon truck, and I have had those in the past. but after old school called him out and he showed his true colors, well, I'm just glad he is off the road for now.

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
