The waver is a pain in the ass to get iv been going through the process since march 2021 they ignore your application for 5 months then they start being picky I had to take 3 versions of the field of vision test and resubmit my proof of employment 3 times because they didnt like the wording each time requires it to be notorized. Finally 3 weeks ago they sent a email saying the eye dr note saying the vision condition was not up to their standards because it was not watermarked, voided rx note , or official leaderhead. Feel free to message me anytime here il help you mane the application process shorter my eye dr now knows what they want so hopefully I will hear back soon. From fmcsa
Does anyone know how to get the vision waiver? I’ve printed off the waiver form for the DOT physical but when I took it to my eye dr she had no idea what I was talking about and wouldn’t help me

DOT:

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
BMI:
Body mass index (BMI)
BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:
- Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
- Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit
It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
