Aaron, that's absolutely doable. That's exactly the schedule I was on at Schneider.
A lot of flat bed companies can get you home every weekend. Try Maverick, TMC, or McElroy.
At my company we have regional home weekly, network fleet which is home every other weekend, or flex which is home 2 nights during the week and every weekend (depending on where you live) and those options are available to brand new drivers. After 6 months experience, again depending if you live close enough to one of our terminals, they'll allow a driver to be home daily.
So your situation is very doable. Quite a few companies that hire new drivers would be able to accommodate you.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
What a beautiful baby.

So I just recently got visitation to see my daughter every other week, I'd like to become a truck driver. Any chances a company would work with me to where I get two days off every other weekend?
