We are all here in a chat group, but has anyone met anyone else from this chat group, LIVE and in person?

Plenty.

I've almost caught Old School multiple times. Will bring a net next time maybe that'll help.

I've had breakfast with Pat from Roehl.

I've had dinner with Tracey the moderator.

I've driven past a member here who works for Swift hauling a Cummins engine. He's a casual member and I didn't know it was him until I asked.

In fact, just today I've spoken with Tracey, Old School and Pat on the phone. We go on this site, but a lot of us talk often.

And I'm going to WA and will probably meet Starcar in a few days if she has the time.

Oh, I almost forgot. If me and Logan had communicated then we would have meet in OKC, OK. We were just a few miles away and drove past each other on the interstate. We found out a few hours later after we talked.

So yeah. Lots of stuff behind the scenes.smile.gif

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

Jeez, my mind is raw after this 564 mile day.

I've also had breakfast with Ernie from Prime. And I speak with him very often.

Don't need to. I have your number & I can call your fleet manager. Easy to find you if I wanted to.

Ernie

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Haha!! Did you get that Qualcomm message I sent you?

Qualcomm:

Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.

There's just no way you can pass me and not notice. I'm the truck that's literally shining pink with the sun shining down on it. You can't miss me. Literally!rofl-3.gif
