" Inspect the tires every two hours or every 100 miles when driving in very hot weather."
Do they really expect you to stop every 100 miles and inspect the tires? That is a direct quote from the book. Really?
There have been other things that have been reading over the course they say similar things. So, do you really stop every 100 miles and inspect things? How would you get any miles doing that?
Legally the answer would be yes and depending on the load its required but in real life no. But in the grand scheme of things stopping for 5 to 10 minutes to stretch your legs and to a quick walk around will not hurt your miles.
I agree, Legally and for purposes of the test yes. I personally check tires every morning and when they are cold at about 95-100 psi then check them at my first stop after they heat up they are typically around 110 psi
