At the cafeteria. Another thing Salt Lake doesn't have (yet).
Just don't expect much.
From the cafeteria, that is. Don't expect much from the cafeteria. I'll be my usual dazzling self, of course.
The bunks back against the seats and there are no cabinets. They take the passenger seat out for fridge microwave and drawers.
The LW pays 49cpm OTR plus weekly cpm for fuel bonus, on time delivery and safety. Another 5cpm for Northeast loads. So a newbie can easily make 50 to 57 cpm in a LW. Many newbies drive them a year then pay off their debts and upgrade to full size.
Yep... What Rainy said. Lol.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.
And where have you been hiding, DD?

I've been busy hauling that "nonexistent freight" for that company that circling the drain... AKA Prime. Keeping me much too busy to post here. Lmao

So close. Was looking forward to meeting you. Maybe next time.
I'm still looking for your truck though...
On the flip side, I'll be back Sunday pm if you're still around.
I'll have to see if I can find out which truck they're giving you. I could umm...break it in for you.
I'll be here in Pittston at least till late morning Thursday.

Sounds more like break in it. Maybe you could load my headache rack and throw some beveled 8 footers on for me :D
Since we are team driving this rental car, I figure we will be there early Thursday morning. I'll keep you on tab of our road trip (cause a car always feels like a road trip) and maybe we can have breakfast.

DAC:
Drive-A-Check Report
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
