I hate the Highway Diamonds concept. Not only is it sexist but I dont need a tee shirt and annual gala to convince me I am a woman driver.

I know I'm exposing my rookie-ness, but I don't get the 'highway diamond' thing. How did that get started? Supposed to indicate a female driver? What driver with half a brain cares if the driver is male or female? My only problem with female drivers is that they are always hitting on me. I try to politely turn them away, but many of them refuse to believe I'm celibate. I guess I'm too sexy for my truck.

Rainy, I agree with you on the diamond thing. I highly respect women who drive trucks. They don't need to put a sticker on the tractor. Except now when I pass a Prime truck, I have to look for a redhead instead of a blonde. Lol!

"You'z guys" got rainy all wrong. She is very sweet and helpful. Perhaps she just acted that way as a ploy to get me to put my guard down? I'd better be extra vigilant if I ever get the opportunity to meet her again.
