Tuesday ran to Quincy Illinois for 1 store and 2 contract deliveries, then a backhaul near Iowa City. I've been to all these stops numerous times. I don't go to Quincy often but with a storm impacting much of Minnesota I figured why not stay far away. I ended up running roughly 500 miles with a total of 4 stops and worked 14 hours. It paid $430.
They had 5 drivers too many so I put my name in and surprisingly got the day off. I made over $1,000 off 2 days of work only working a total of 21 hours. Since I took Thursday and Friday off as well I won't go back until Monday. Freezing rain moved in by the house about 1030am. Real slick so I'm glad I took the day off. Kids had school canceled, and Friday was a scheduled day off for them so we'll have alot of time to spend together.
