I figured it was pretty strange to need a sign posted for this...

And I’ll bet that’s one of those places that has another sign for “No Public Restrooms. Sorry”.

Was once out at the "quarry" (swimming hole) outside of town doing what teenagers did on weekend nights in smaller midwestern towns in the 70's...

Saw an object come over the horizon in the distance. It continued to arc overhead for what seemed to be a minute or more before disappearing over the opposite horizon. No one said a word for quite some time.

I assume it was a satellite but don't think any of us realized it back then!

Ooh WEE OOH!

As a TNT student I haven't seen anything yet but this breathtaking view from Deadman Pass lookout area was so great.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

TNT:

Trainer-N-Trainee

Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.

The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.

The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.

Certainly not the strangest thing I’ve ever seen, none the less “funny”.

If memory serves that was taken in Lacombe, LA at Folgers. Along with keep out of water gators signs. And I wanna say they had bathrooms if not the gas station/truckstop down the road a mile or two does.

I saw this thread last night before I went to bed and then first thing this morning I was getting ready to pull out of a little truck stop in Idaho off of I-15 and this flatbedder has his wife and kids in the truck with him. I was just getting ready to pull out as he passed in front of me he had one of his kids probably four or 5 years old sitting on his lap steering the truck. Didn't think too much of it he was in the parking lot going very slow. But about 10 or 15 minutes later I passed him down the highway and the kid was still sitting on his lap steering the truck... now granted his hands were probably lower on the Wheel but still if a cop saw that???

I'm a tech moron I have posted pictures on my profile but I can't remember how to. That picture reminds me of one I saw and took I think it was outside of Columbus Ohio. This guy was laying in his bunk with his inside lights on and this went on for hours. It's not that I was looking but he was directly across from me all he had on was a thong I think? And he probably was north of 300 lb. I took a picture of Cleopatra... sent it to my girlfriend as a joke.... she was not happy she said why are you looking at other men? LOL So for God's sakes close the curtains. Forgot XX close the curtains
