Personally i use Verizon for not only their phone coverage almost every where (more than any other phone carrier) but I also use the mobile wifi for my computer. Not to mention that I am "grandfathered" in from the old plans and I still have unlimited data on my cell phone.
I know with the straight talk phones you have to watch which phones you get. I have used straight talk for about the last 4-5 years. In one of the lower corners on the front of the package will have a code of either GSM or CDMA. The GSM phones runn off of AT&T towers and the CDMA phones run off the verison towers. Just something for you to keep in mind.
Also, Straight Talk says you get unlimited data. That is true for data used by the phone. The terms of service specifically state that you may NOT tether it to a laptop or tablet. So the unlimited data is somewhat misleading.
I used straight talk when I first started driving. It did what it was suppose to do. Some spots like all other carriers were dead zones. but for the most part it did great. and Guyx you are lucky. unlimited data from verizon lol wish I had that

I would appreciate input from truckers about their level of satisfaction with Straight Talk mobile phone service. It is a price I can afford, and it uses Verizon's towers so I am hoping to hear good things. However, if Straight Talk can not deliver good service the great price is no deal anymore.
