That was great! Thanks for pointing me there and much love to Daniel B. for putting all that down. It gives me a much better idea of what I need to do.

No problem Doug. If you have any questions just ask, and it's impossible for you to not have a question - so I'll be waiting...

Hey some of that DFAC chow overseas wasn't too bad. Still never compared to what we had on Navy and Marine Corps bases though.

I always found that when I was downrange that if KBR was running chow it was going to be pretty good times.

Another lurker here. Been registered for a while but haven't posted anything. I really enjoy this site, lot of good people here. A little about me, been driving since the 80's started OTR about 10 years ago. I have worked for one large company & 2 smaller ones. I have a few stories and some experience I'm willing to share. Thanks!

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Steve, you are 7 months behind on introducing yourself! I can not believe this is only your first post. Glad to have you out of the shadows finally! Please start a topic and share your stories and experience! Since you been driving since the 80's, I am sure you have some valuable info we could all use. We are willing to listen.

Ok so you dont like lurkers? I have been lurking for a few months but you drug me out. I have been all around your site. I decided a few months ago it was time to retire from the AF and start doing something a little less stressful. Oh and no you cant track me so stop trying :) I have only a few months to go before I start school around the cornor fom my house in SC. I have been reading all sorts of reviews, advise and whatever I could find on your site. Didnt want complaining, just wanted the truth. THANKS! Hate when all people do is complain, life is so hard whaaa. I wanted and recieved the truth from ya'll. Decided on school instead of company training, because of what I researched on here. Is it better? No one said. They just said the pros and cons of both. I still dont know what company, but that will come. I was thinking of Schnider(spelling is not my strong point) but didnt like something I read on here so thats seems to be out. I appreciate all the advice and stories all the folks here put on. I have learned so much. What to ask, what to expect, what to look forward to, and most of all what not to do. Thanks again. I'm here and will be lurking around in the shadows :) I will take my free fake cookie now.
