I am a new driver on the road. I play video games and would like to do that on my 10s and 34s. I also don't have unlimited data on my phone. Are there any options out there that you guys have found reliable for an affordable price for unlimited data?

Sleeping, eating, showering, figuring out where you have been and where you are going, will pretty much eat up your 10 in a hurry. Save your gaming for 34's and hometime. Trust me......when you start running out here, those 10 hour breaks fly by in a hurry. Most Truck Stops offer paid wifi, but it usually isn't very fast. Stay well rested and focus on your job It can be VERY demanding out here and requires your full attention. Good luck!

I use "Unlimitedville."

I pay $150/mo for 100% unthrottled 5g internet.

As Tractor Man said, though, you can eat up that 10hr break really fast if you're not paying attention. I have developed a routine, but even then, I sometimes go to sleep later than planned. Save the bulk of your gaming for resets.

I am sorry I should have been more clear. My gaming would mostly be on my 34s. But I am the type that can't go straight to sleep. So I would also like to watch Netflix or my Youtube TV when I have the time. Thank you for your advice and recommendations I will look into that service.

My son uses a "jet pack" I believe it is called from Verizon. So far, he reports no major issues.

I just looked that up. I have Verizon so it would cost $249 a month!😲 I think I'll wait. They're is some amazing tech soon to be released.

He paid 200 for it, and I don't recall the monthly bill, but I can almost guarantee he is not paying that much. I will post again after I talk to him.

He just got his first solo load today from Springfield to Bakersfield. Got an hour down the road, and the check engine light came on lol.....

I have Verizon, too, but use the Sprint one. It doesn't matter who your phone carrier is.

I use straight talk an pay $55/mo. $60.47 with tax. Unlimited 4G data. I watch mostly on my phone. Watch YouTube, play games, and have Trucker Path running on my phone all day.

I've looked into that Jet Pack and I don't think it really serves any purpose that your cell phone can't do. It's just a hotspot. I have to use my phone for Internet full time at my house and I looked into it but couldn't find any advantage to it. If you wanted to use Verizon's cell service for Internet but didn't have a phone, that Jet Pack is what you would use. But if you already have a Verizon phone just use your phone as a hotspot for your laptop.
