Hot water, Double Tide, Double rinse. Has always worked on greasy clothes for me. Should work for diesel.

Eskimos always wash their clothes in Tide because it's too cold out Tide.
Anybody have any tricks for getting the diesel smell removed from clothing? And no smarta** remarks about burning the affected item.
Could always try to find that fart or skunk spray from novelty stores. Doubt it removes the smell but atleast you wouldn't smell it....

I don't think the fart stuff would help. I didn't drink any diesel. LOL
BTW, does drinking diesel give you gas???????
Honestly there's no good tricks to get that smell out of your clothes. I used to use coke instead of laundry detergent. Use enough water to get the clothes wet/covered then pour coke all over it and wash! If you choose not to use coke then you have to wash it multiple times and don't mix it with other clothes. Also after you wash your fuel soaked clothes, be sure to run a few rinse cycles on your washing machine with no clothes in it prior to washing other clothes to ensure it doesn't contaminate them! I also used to air dry them separately by hanging up the clothes vs putting them in my dryer. I worked with fuels for 24 years in the military and it's no fun to be drenched in it then come home and try to clean your clothes. Best of luck
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
That stuff is next to impossible to get out. I've tried pretreatment with gojo, regular blue dawn dish liquid, and lots of tide. Sometimes it works but not real well and most the time we just call it a loss and throw the clothing away.

I was just gonna say "don't spill diesel on yourself". Lol

Also, my own tip: If you get some diesel, even a little bit of it, on a piece of clothing, DO NOT put it in with other wash because everything will come out smelling like diesel.
