That sounds nice. That sounds like a good choice. That stuff stays nice and straight. I've been involved in a few projects like that. We once had a log home made from Cypress timbers. It was really pretty. The logs were shaped much like yours with a groove and a matching tongue. On the interior side they were cut flat. That house smelled so good everytime you walked in it. There wasn't one piece of sheetrock anywhere.
I'm not sure what it is, but a wooden house just feels good to me. When we were living in that house I had a little niece that would come visit us. She lived in a big city and had never seen the way folks like us lived. My town's name is unusual - "Nacogdoches." She got my name and the town name confused and would call me "Uncle Doches." She used to say, "I'm going to see Uncle Doches, he lives in a house made of sticks!"
Somehow the name stuck and my Grandkids call me Papa Doches. I may have to build me another "house made of sticks" when I decide to come off the road.

A long hot shower. And I do mean long and I do mean hot!!!
I prefer the simple things in life. Sitting my fat butt on the sofa next to the wife watching some boring crap on the idiot box. Now my wife has other plans. She cannot sit, she is a doer and it drives me bonkers sometimes. But its that little stuff I love the most. She says I'm boring..but I have seen enough and done my fare share of stupidity in my youth.
When I was driving three years ago, I enjoyed driving my car and my bed. However, when I stopped driving for three years and worked in a distribution warehouse, I missed driving. I worked in a very hectic environment doing order picking, truck receive, and dock work and that for three years. While working with the trucks and truck drivers, I started missing the freedom while driving the truck. In the warehouse there were too many bosses ordering me around. I enjoyed working in the warehouse, but I my passion is with truck driving.
When I started driving three years ago, I was not really ready. Therefore, I decided to work in the warehouse. The driving itself was ok, but the work outside the truck was difficult for me. I was probably the clumsiest person around. I was all fingers and thumbs when I had to low landing gear and do similar work just like Mr Bean. In the warehouse, I learned how to work hard and efficiently in a hectic environment.
When I worked in the warehouse, the was a machine that made a similar sound as the QUALCOMM when messages arrived. Everytime I heard this sound, I missed resting in the truck and hearing the sound of the QUALCOMM.
When I returned to El Paso, I went to a Pilot and Love's nearby and enjoy the coffee again. Trucking in Germany is not the same as in the States. No truck stops, no space, qualcomms inside the trucks.
