UPS Trailer Wheel Brushes

Anybody know what those brushes on the wheel wells of UPS trailers are supposed to do? You know, the ones that look like mustaches over the wheels. Just curious.

On a tractor trailer wheel well, brush is used to make it more aerodynamic and keep debris from flying up. From a company that manufactures them.

To get the shoulder of your shirt dirty while pulling the pin, especially when it is raining, ask me how I know, lol.
