Does anyone have a membership to Eagle Rider and rent motorcycles on 34 hour resets or home time away from your residence?

I had never heard of it until reading your post, and boy do I wish I'd known this existed when I started driving. To this day, I still keep helmets for my wife and I under the bunk in hopes that I'll one day come across a place that rents a bike for a 34. HD used to do it years ago, and I kind of pinned my hopes on that when I started driving. But apparently they ceased renting bikes sometime back, unbeknownst to me.

I'd kind of given up on the idea of renting a bike, and instead just park near airports where I can rent/return a car 24/7.

I'll have to seriously look into this Eagle Riders thing. Thanks for posting.

Never heard of it. I believe many H-D dealers have rental fleets.

Harley has pretty much stopped renting.

Eagle Rider has locations all over the U.S. and lots of bikes

I had a membership with them for a year and used them a couple of times. Canceled just because I could not use that many days. If you think your will use 12+ days a year the membership is the way to go.

First time I used them was out in Vegas a couple of years ago. I rented a Triumph adventure tourer and my 20 year old daughter and I did about 250 miles around Lake Mead and through the Valley of Fire State Park.

Other time was a guys bike trip in Feb 2016. 4 of us flew into Fort Lauderdale and rented Harleys, first and last time I ever rode a Harley. We rode down to Key West for a night then rode up to Naples to visit my son and then back to Fort Lauderdale.

They have expanded quite a lot the last few years. They used to have a wide selection of bikes available but I believe they have a formal relationship with HD now which may limit the selection to Harleys.

The bike selection depends on the location. They are generally connected to a dealer, so Harley dealer, you get Harleys. BMW & Triumph dealer, you get those. I had rented an Indian in Chicago several years back, but it looks like all the locations in Chicago are now through the Harley dealers.

In another thread, RobD says:

In reference to the other thread, let me know if you rent a motorcycle from Eagle Rider.

You don't know just how happy I am that you brought this possibility up.

I've already looked into it, and they have a location in Jackson Hole, WY, which is precisely where the wife and I will be going in a couple weeks as part of our Yellowstone tour for our 25th anniversary.

Once I have the dates pinned down, it's a certainty that I'll be renting a bike for a couple days. She'll be absolutely thrilled and surprised by this, and it wouldn't have happened without you Rob. Many thanks, pal.

Of course I'll take full credit with the wife though, as the bestest most thoughtful husband ever, scoring big points!

Although im sure you've looked into it, spring for the "America the Beautiful" pass. Well worth the price if you're making more than 2-3 trips to national parks in a year. Have a great time!
