A lot of the Walmart contracts are money losers; bad rates and lopsided SLAs.
Swift at the last minute was able to renegotiate a better contract at 7030 where I am based. Very few companies have the expansive tractor availability like Swift or the experience running a Walmart Account. We are over 200 loads per day, peak at 225.
Don’t be surprised if at the 11th hour they keep both of the accounts mentioned because both companies come back to the negotiating table. Anything is possible.
