That sounds to me like a Hit And Run, so best to talk with actual lawyers for the advice you need. Were you convicted in court?
What I do know is this kind of traffic citation is going to be a huge roadblock for getting hired.
If the case is ALREADY SETTLED - then chances are the DQ will stay.
At any rate - even if you got the DQ removed (or got a hardship license or whatever) - the odds of a company hiring you with a RECENT HIT AND RUN aren't very good.
Did you ALREADY HOLD a CDL? At any rate - the DQ offenses are federal, and pretty much WRITTEN IN STONE. So if that is the case - there's probably very little LEGAL RECOURSE you have on it.
And again - a hit and run is going to PRECLUDE A HIRE for awhile (3 years typically, or more), even if you were able to obtain a CDL...

I have a 1 year cdl disqualification placed on my license that’s stopping me from getting my cdl because of a striking an unattended vehicle and not reporting. Are there any lawyers or anything that could get this removed before the 1 year mark or do I have to wait?
