Welcome aboard Aaron!
Ok, I'm a bit confused about your strategy. You say you want to get your CDL before you go to training. Do you mean you want to get your CDL permit before you begin training? Because that's pretty easy. Simply go through our High Road Training Program and you'll be ready for the permit.
And when you say what type of things should you compare - are you looking for a company to work for or a school to attend? We have both covered. We have articles on How To Choose A Truck Driving School and articles on How To Choose A Trucking Company To Work For so those will help you out a ton.
And you said, "but with Swift they give you a mile reason over a period of time." which doesn't make sense so you'll have to clarify a bit. Thanks.

Yeah I wanna get my cdl permit before training. I was talking with the swift recruiter they say that you get a mile raise over a period of time and unlike Kllm you get 32/miile.

I'm thinking about getting into the trucking industry. I've been to FFE training for a couple of days and I wasn't able to pass my cdl on the 2nd attempt so they sent me home. What type of things shoud i try to compare.I live in Houston TX and i want to get my cdl before i go to training.I notice that Kllm pays 32/mile but with Swift they give you a mile reason over a period of time.
