You're certainly best off contacting them directly to find out your options, but assuming there isn't anything major to scare them away and you live in their hiring zone, I would think they would be happy to have you.
You'll have to do at maybe a two week course depending on your home terminal , it can vary form terminal to terminal it seems but I would count on them making you do the full 6 weeks but you can get out of that if the trainer feels you have the skills to go solo. I was given a choice to get out of the trainer truck after 4 weeks but I enjoyed my trainers company so we just kept on trucking for 2 more weeks but as for graduating from Squire it works by miles and that is one thing you can't get out of.
I believe at 10,000 miles you move on to the next step of their Squire pay grade then at 20,000 you move up again and get a .01 bump and then after 30,000 miles you finally get to become a Company driver.
Contact a recruiter and don't make any quick choices, make sure to ask a lot of question and if you don't have any hold on from committing then come back after you have thought everything throughly and then decide.

I have a question about Knight Transportation, especially their finishing arm Squire Transportation:
I want to do their training program.
I already have my CDL A. However, I haven't driven since Summer 2011. Am I qualified to start their training program or do the require a minimum of driving experience? Do I need to attend a Refresher Course prior to be hired as a trainee at Squire Transportation?
CDL:
