Not sure if the same applies to Androids as it does to iPhones, but figured I’d throw it out there in case it might be an issue.....
Have you updated your OS recently? Sometimes updated apps won’t work with older versions of the OS, and/or vice verse, sometimes older versions of apps won’t work with the updated OS.
Since you updated the apps, I’d guess it couldn’t be the former. Possibly the latter? If you haven’t updated your OS recently, and there’s an upgrade available, try updating that.
If that’s not possibly the issue, disregard 😜😂
Try a power cycle first. Guessing that doesn't work, start uninstalling other apps one at a time. PITA, I know. It sounds like there's an internal conflict happening with another app. Only other fix, buy a new phone.
Maybe OS as mentioned or could be conflict with other apps.
Uninstall all apps you updated. Then reinstall Prime app
If Prime app works then, install other apps one by one until you find the conflicting app
How much available memory do you have. I have had issues like that on phones when the memory starts to get full.
Whenever my phone goes Wonky, I reboot. Turn it off, power down completely, wait 10 seconds, and power up.
Turtle, I had a slightly similar issue once on my Galaxy phone. It was a few years back, and I can't remember which model it was. It could have been a 6.
I took it to the dealer I purchased it from, explaining in detail what was going on. They fixed it right there before my eyes by turning it off, removing the battery, and leaving it removed for twenty seconds. Then they put it back in, rebooted and Voila! - it was "magical," and effective.
It probably won't work for you though.

I hope that works just as well for all of the autonomous vehicles we keep hearing about. When a platoon of 10 trucks each weighing 80,000 pounds running nose to tail at 70 mph stops responding we'll just have to shut em off and restart em. Nothing to worry about, right? Just because we can't keep an iPhone working doesn't mean we aren't ready to have big rigs driving themselves.

Isn't it funny how we can gripe about other drivers, traffic, dispatch, truck mechanical breakdowns, etc, but when we have phone or computer issues it's far more stressful. At least for me. I can take almost everything else in stride, but my phone or computer problems make my head want to explode.
Seriously, when I have these problems, I ask my 15 year old grandson for the solution. 90% of the time he knows exactly what to do. And usually it's something simple and stupid that I didn't know.
Good luck, Turtle, I know how aggravating it is.
Ugh, it's driving me batty. I've tried everything short of a complete factory reset. I'm going to have to find me one of those geek squad kinda places. Fun fun

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6. All apps and software are up-to-date. No other issues.
Problem: I updated all of my apps a couple days ago through the Play Store, just like I always do from time to time. My PrimeMobile app won't open now. I use the app for all my company stuff like scanning bills, sending/receiving messages, contacts, truck info, etc.
Company push notifications come through to my lock screen, so I know the app is in there working somewhere. But I can't actually open the app to do anything. All I get is this:
What I've done:
Cleared all app data / cache
Uninstalled / reinstalled app multiple times.
Swore a bunch
Contacted our IT dept. They're clueless, and blamed it on me or my phone. (Probably true)
Posed the problem to a couple other forums. No answers yet.
Downloaded the app to my wife's phone, and it works perfectly fine there. The problem must be within my phone, and only since the update. It worked fine before that.
Solution : [insert painfully obvious answer here]
I know this isn't trucking related, but it is my trucking app. So hook a brutha up!
