Ohhh, you would be surprised at just how good these companies are at fishing for information from your past.

Just like high school. It is in your "permanent record."

Majority of these companies use hireright, believe me when I say it unless its a sex offense it will not show if older than 10 years.
Many use Hireright, but some use a different one or one in conjunction with Hireright.

Unfortunately felonies ,no matter how old, stay on your record if you are charged as an adult forever. and yes companies do go back further than 10 years for certain offenses.
As a LEO, I have seen background checks done right up to and including NCIS and LEDS....the companies paid for the background checks, and had to provide a clearance from the possible employee....We gave them everything since birth.....from city, county, state, and federal files...

Hey Dave D, and Old School thanks for the knowledge. Old School thanks for the encouragement. I won't let my past define me. Like I said, it was a mistake. Something we all do. I can understand if a company would think would I haul drugs with their equipment. Wonder if they think if that murderer would kill again. I've forgivin myself a long time ago. In a way I was thankful the drugs never hit the streets. At least I don't have anyones blood on my hands. God has forgivin me even if man hasn't. I will continue to move forward and I will stay positive. I'm gonna go 4 it. Thanks again gents.
