I was just looking at "postcards from the road". When I drove, I always enjoyed the two lane roads. Interstates were ok, but the two lanes were more interesting. Less miles, but more smiles.

I'd much rather stay on the interstate all day but today I spent a majority of my day driving 2 lane State and U.S. highways and going thru small towns. Sometimes you find the most random stuff, like the Biden Corn Maze in New Hampton IA north of Waterloo. I laughed far too hard at this than I should have.

Woke up to rain yesterday morning (10/7) but it cleared out to a nice day in late morning. Got my load, ran back to the house and got ready to head out. Was in Southern Idaho and ran back into rain. The weigh station on I-84 was closed, so I settled in for another 5 hours of driving. About 10 miles from the WS, this is what I ran into:
