Where the heck IS that, even ?!?!? There's a GULF fuel station in the background, even? Haven't seen one of those in YEARS.

Anne, it is an establishment, convenience store across from a TA truck stop in west Nebraska. Ogallala, NE.

I drove by there this morning and Laura is near there now.

I can't get some on here that I have (or not) met to reply to texts. I mostly don't bother pursuing any actual meets now.

I think it's a Nebraska thing, because I was going to say it's at Lexington NE. Though, now that I think about it, I don't think the one in Lexington is that fancy. If I go through there tonight, I'll stop and see because I'm going to stop at the Walmart right beside it and pick up some stuff... depending on what time I get there.

Vicki, when were you in Bliss? Were you at the Love's? I had picked up my load Tuesday over by the Oregon border and went through there Tuesday evening. Actually from that Love's I'm only 30 miles from my house down on Old Highway 30. But I took the exit closest to my house rather than jump off there and go across country. Even though I was in a hurry, I still would have had a few minutes to stop and visit.

Not my picture, but I think this is appropriate for this day.

Thanks PackRat ole friend. This image should always be shown along with the collapse photos so the average American never forgets. You know that we will never forget. Be safe my friend.

Indeed, thank you. This is certainly a morose day for me, as well. My (late) brother was supposed to be working there that day, with his HVAC team; he had dental surgery the day before, and couldn't make it; ended up with an infection. Needless to say, he lost some 'team,' too.

Thank you ALL who've served; everywhere and anywhere. Never Forget.

Incidentally, this photo was taken by Thomas E. Franklin of The Record newspaper; Bergen County, New Jersey, on September 11, 2001.

His name is inclusive of both my husband, and son. My brother's middle name was Franklin, as well.

Seen this dog waiting for security to check him in at my yard a couple days ago. I've seen quite a few different breeds in trucks but this is the first St Bernard.
