PackRat you were here too what is this alien plant? Weird to me but I'm from the mountains of Arkansas. No desserts where I'm from.

Those are Joshua Trees, “wandering through the barren wasteland”.

Thanks PackRat been bugging me since yesterday. Definitely barren didn't see any fauna just scrubby flora.

Hot during the day, then can be quite cold at night. Not uncommon to see 60 degree temperature changes in Death Valley. Keep an eye out on the road shoulders. Sometimes you’ll see a Roadrunner out chasing insects or lizards. Also, keep an eye out for bicyclists and pedestrians, even in the middle of nowhere.

My recent picture updates were taken several weeks ago. I’ve been having no luck posting any photos from the road when I try my phone. I think I need to upgrade cell phones again.

Could just be crappy service areas too. That's my problem from time to time.
