Well, Errol,
I bought the clean machine and yes it was pricey. I had to wait 3 weeks after starting to be able to pay for it. Anyway I don't know if it is really cleaning the hose out. I think when I get this load delivered I go use my Love's points and get my shower and take my hose in with me.

Man I wish I'd known that before I got the SoClean! I ended up dishing out the money when I got taxes back. SoClean does work, but I wish I'd found a cheaper alternative.
As far as I know, all any of these machines do is make ozone and blow it through the hose.
After using my "sanitizer" for a wile, I can tell (smell) the days I skip using it.
I’ve never figured out how washing the hose does anything. It isn’t like you can scrub it. Just water running through it isn’t doing much

When you got your CPAP machine, the technician told you to clean it daily, including putting some soapy water in the hose, run it back and forth a bit, rinse and hang the tube up to dry.
Uh huh, you said. That's something you could do before you start your pre-trip. Uh-huh.
And on TV you see ads for a machine that automatically cleans the whole system. Then you find out these go for something in the $200 range. "Well, maybe later."
You can clean the tubing for way less than that, in your truck. Searck for a CPAP disinfecting machine on Amazon, ebay, Walmart, your favorite internet marketplace. An ozone generator goes for around $35, and charges through a USB port. It's "pocket size"
