Plot twist: I misspoke on the 1st stop appt time. Doors open 0800...

Oh, and I have a dentist appt the following day at home, so I really need all this off my truck tues.

I like hearing you flatbedders talking about your loads. lot's of differences between flat bed and dry van , but at the end of the day we all drive similar trucks and have deadlines and commitments. Flatbedders have a specialized set of skills when it comes to securement, tarping, axle spacing, etc.

And Turtle, good luck at the dentist. Be true to your teeth and they will never be false to you. (My mom told me that)

Dry Van:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

Ouch. I wouldn't wish that load on my worst enemy. Hopefully traffic is in your favor on that day sir.

First day of work for folks after a long weekend. I dont envy you, buy a lottery ticket before you use up all your good luck accomplishing that task.

No, thank you! I've been into Boston and Chicago in the past month. I wouldn't want anymore city stops period. Especially several in the same day.

Good luck! That's gonna be a tough schedule to keep.

Tomorrow is your D Day, Turtle.

Wishing you green lights, speedy forklift operators, cooperative straps, and smooth paperwork.

You'll earn the big bucks tomorrow!

Looking forward to hear the recap as to how you made this happen. I've never been to NYC and can't imagine trying to make it through horrible traffic to try to make a tight schedule like that.
