Don't believe anything that comes out of Bezerkley anymore.
Nor do I believe the myriad of things that they (all of them) try to blame climate change on. But to blame it on independent truckers, is like blaming it on cow farts.
Used to be, California "set the stage" for the future. Things that were adopted by California, were the "shape of things to come" for the rest of the country.
If what's going on in Cali now - is any indication of what's going to happen to the rest of the country - THEY CAN KEEP IT ALL.
To link labor classifications, with independents destroying the world because they are not employees and can't buy electric trucks - is more rabidly insane cali BS.

A UCal Berkley study? That just must be factual! If you live in Cali, I'm sorry, but it is the worst state for business and keeping Big Brother State Government out of your affairs. It's even worse than NY, and that's almost hard to believe. Their "Science" can be skewed to arrive at any conclusions to meet their needs.
I see no way even before this latest study that anystart-up, or small company could operate successfully out there.
Only reason I like going to the west coast is miles. You could not pay me enough to stick around there to live.

Bezerkley! I love that one, Rick!
And, isn't it funny that the lefts cure for the hoax that's climate change, is more government control and money.

Always their solution: more of their control and regulations with more of our money.
A recent ruling by the National Labor Relations Board not only kicks the teeth out of the independent contractor/employee controversy, but sets the stage for some major head-butting with California authorities if that state's latest attempt to force employee status on independent truck drivers is successful.
Berkeley study says reducing independent truckers can alleviate climate change
ROFLMAO
Heck, then I might have-ta blame our So. Cali higher humidity on the Hurricane off the east coast!
