What Should I Bring To My Truck Driver Training
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
The simple answer is what are you willing to sleep with. You will need to bring or buy bedding. That can take up a lot of space. At least a sheet, sleeping bag and pillow. Don’t forget personal hygiene items. I took a military duffle, a large and a small backpack. The large backpack was filled mostly with bedding.
I took a sleeping bag instead of a lot of bedding. Brought one medium sized pillow and used a pillowcase for my laundry bag and it doubled as a second pillow.

Hi all,
Next week i start training for Wilson Logistics up in Montana. They told me to pack 7 to 10 days worth of clothing for when I am on the road with a trainer after i get my permit.
My question is: i have a backpack and a regular size carryon bag like for an airplane. Is this too much, too little?
What would be the recommended things to pack and how much? Thank you so much!
