I bought a Coleman 12V cooler in April. It conked out 2 months ago. Just got around to calling Amazon to arrange a return. They told me the company won't take it back because I've had it too long. I thought Coleman made better stuff. Might be a fuse in the cooler. Anybody know where the fuse is located? I can't find it. Thanks.

In the 12v plug. Switch out the 2amp for a 10amp and you won't have any trouble with it. At least until you drop it out of the truck and crack the shell lol.

I'm on #4 in four years. After this one gives up the ghost, I'm switching brands.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Coleman’s tend to last me about a year. Big T is right about the fuse. Step one is always swap that fuse out. The 2 amp one pops fairly easy. I bought an igloo the last time and it died after 2 months. Unless you plan on getting a dometic your best bet is the Coleman.

I bought a Coleman. It conked out (fuse). I called the company, they sent me a new one. After a while, it conked out (fuse). I called the company, they sent me a new one. After a while, it conked out (fuse). I called the company, they sent me a new one.

I kept the four "conked out" ones. Bought a package of 25 fuses, replaced the blown ones and packed some extras in a Baggie for each cooler. Sold two @ $50, gave one away and kept one.

It seems Coleman would be better off shipping fuses out instead of whole coolers!
