Common Mistakes Rookie Truck Drivers Should Avoid

At TruckingTruth we've watched countless new drivers make a mess of their careers before they ever even got off the ground. It's heartbreaking, especially when we can see these people would've gone on to have a great career and really enjoy driving for a living. There are certain common mistakes that rookies make, and Rainy (Kearsey) does a great job of laying them out and helping you understand how to avoid them.

Listen closely! These things are often the difference between a successful career that can change your life or a bus ticket home to nothing.

I am enjoying her YouTube videos where she explains some of these mistakes. Nothing like being able to look back and laugh at the mistakes you made, while warning others to avoid those same pitfalls.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
