Installed this for a customer yesterday. Takes about a month to arrive once ordered - $40 on eBay. He swears by them!
He uses them to boost signals to mobile hot spots he puts in the basement of rental properties to feed cameras and such things.
He said just setting it on the ground worked in a fringe area - didn't have to be mounted (sounded like that was a cell phone test). Not sure about his phone... hot spot was Verizon.
Won't turn T-mobile into Verizon but might help!
