Day 8 class started at 7. So we’re at the training site with a new instructor this is how it goes half of the class goes to one site for the backing for 2 days and the other half goes to the other site for 2 days there’s no class on Friday except for when it’s your first week and you’re testing out. The new trainer showed us his way of backing which is breaking everything down for us so we want over think he moves at a pace that’s suitable for a new student. He told us to show him what we learned at the other site, everybody straight backs were good the offsets no too bad, the 90 we needed some work. He showed us how to do his way which was way easier he told us take your time we’re use to moving fast because our other instructor would say take your foot off the clutch and put it in the hole doing that we didn’t have time to catch the mistakes that were preventable, the instructor for the other site is a great instructor no lie because he taught us what we needed too know. The offsets were decent for us, the 90 he showed us how to do it an easier way and we caught onto it quick, line the shoulder of the tractor with the ball on the trailer this trick helped, I’m glad we’re with him for 2 because we’re learning on the test site, after backing all day no pretrip this instructor stays in the hard we left, tomorrow we’re doing all 3, it’s been a tiresome 3 days but in the end we’ll be rewarded so it’s worth it, after school I’ll be going home, hopefully i can beat this Charlotte traffic lol but I don’t see that happening since we get out of class at 430 and the traffic is just getting started. Thanks for reading my journey everyone.

Day 7 class started at 8. First thing we did was pretrip afterwards we started doing the 90 backing our instructor said we were doing good at backing. So we each took turns doing the 90 of course we made newbie mistakes but I did get one in the hole after practicing it, my instructor said it was textbook it gave me a lot of confidence, even though we made our mistakes we didn’t get discouraged. After lunch we did all 3 I know I bragged and said backing isn’t too hard I still believe that to a certain extent, but reality set in we were making mistakes like we’ve never practiced it before which is understandable because we’re still learning but we still didn’t get discouraged we went over our mistakes my main issue is turning the wheel doing the offset right is left and left is right, afterwards we watched a backing and pretrip video and left.
