I use a regular app called simply "NOAA WEATHER". (no ads)
I can get forecasts and WX reports for given locations ('Home", "Terminal", etc.) and touch on any point on a map for the report.
Don't forget your truck radio has NOAA weather channels too. These are important for up-to-the-second reports if youe're caught in thunderstorms or tornado danger.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
I like to use the National Weather Service Website - www.weather.gov
Driving in some parts of the country, first thing I would check was wind speed.
I run a number of them - the one that gives the best overview of weather on a "national scale" would be "Storm Radar" (the one by The Weather Channel). It gives you radar for the entire country, and if you tap on a specific location on the map - it will give you local conditions.
I call it "biker radar" - I use it before I go out riding.
